The Bund ('league', in Yiddish) was the first Jewish Socialist party of the Russian empire. It was founded in 1897 in Vilnius and (some say) it died in the Vilnius ghetto in 1943. Others say the idea survives and guides us still today. I'll share stories and songs from my show/concert on the Bund "Messiah and Revolution", which has been touring Italy for the last 5 years. Bring your voices and a musical instrument, if you play any!
