The COVID-19 pandemic and its lockdowns hit us all in varied ways, often serious and destabilising. Our communal youth movements survive on face-to-face engagement and in-person gatherings to sustain the dynamism of youth teaching, learning, activism and fun, but the pandemic removed these modes of engagement in an instant. In this panel, leaders of four of our community's youth organisations will explore how they responded to the limits imposed by the pandemic, what lessons they have taken from this experience, and what institutional measures they are putting in place going forward to ensure they remain sustainable, relevant and flexible.
